The challenges we face are very real. Coastal erosion, reduced beach access, traffic collisions, and hardships associated with running a local business are ongoing issues.

Policy professionals play a critical role in ensuring people have a strong quality of life.

The decisions we make today not only impact us, but also future generations. There is a lot at stake.

As Wendell Berry stated: “The Earth is what we all have in common.”

transportation solutions

Address congestion and improve safety for bicyclists and pedestrians

Many people chose Encinitas as their home because we’re a smaller city that offers community cohesiveness, walkable neighborhoods, and clean air.

Community concerns surrounding traffic congestion and collisions need to be addressed so we can achieve public safety, meet our climate action goals, and improve our quality of life.

As your Encinitas City Councilmember, I will work to champion road safety for all users and improve access to destinations within our community. I will advocate for safe routes to school, a citywide quiet zone, and safe rail crossings.
